Finally finished my first full comic page after three years of trying

Honestly, I started trying to draw comics back in 2021 but could never get past the sketch phase. Last month, I forced myself to use Clip Studio Paint's panel tools and just commit. Tbh, I just finished the final page last night, and it feels huge even though it's just one. Has anyone else finally pushed through a big art block like that?

Wow, that's seriously awesome. I read this interview once where a pro artist said the only bad page is the one you don't finish. Tools are there to be used, period. Staring at a blank page is the real enemy, not using software to help. Huge congrats on getting it done, that first finished page is a monster hurdle.

Congrats on finishing the page, that's a huge deal. I used to be totally against using any special tools, believing it had to be all from scratch to count. Seeing someone actually finish something by using the panel tools, though, it makes me reconsider. Getting the work done is what matters in the end, not how you got there. Your post is a good reminder that sometimes you just need to use whatever helps you push through.
