Is posting unfinished work a good move or a bad habit?

I’ve been in this group for about 3 years now, and I notice two camps. Camp A posts every sketch and half-finished piece for feedback early on. Camp B waits until the final render is polished before showing anything. Last week, I put up a rough concept for a character portrait and got some notes that totally changed the direction. But I also wonder if showing too much too soon takes the mystery out of the final piece. What’s your take on sharing work before it’s done?

Used to think Camp B was the way to go, but posting rough stuff changed my mind too. It saves you from wasting time on a bad direction you could have fixed in 10 minutes.
