Just realized I've been scaling my canvas sizes wrong for years
Found out my digital paintings were coming out blurry because I was working at 72 DPI for everything and a tutorial by an artist in Portland finally showed me how resolution actually affects the final export.

Spent years wondering why my characters looked like they'd been through a washing machine on spin cycle before I figured out DPI wasn't just a printer thing. Classic self-taught artist moment right there.

Went through the exact same thing @robinson.leo, except I was importing photos into my early digital art and wondering why they looked like blown-out messes. Someone finally told me about DPI and resolution being two different things and my whole world changed.
