Just realized those AI upscaling tools actually work okay
I was sure Topaz Gigapixel was just hype until I ran a 72 DPI jpeg from 2005 through it and the text came out readable after 3 tries with different settings, anyone else had luck with specific models?

Call it fake detail. Those tools just guess and make up pixels.
