Saw that stat in a Behance writeup last week and it honestly messed with my head while I was posting new work. Anyone else here design with that kind of short attention span in mind, or do you just make what you like and hope people slow down?
1.7 seconds is just the average for people scrolling. The folks who actually care about your work will stop and look longer, and those are the ones who matter. Chasing that number usually leads to clickbait junk that gets seen fast and forgotten faster. Make the work good and let the right people find it.
