Shoutout to the gallery in Santa Fe that changed my file naming setup

I was in Santa Fe last month checking out a digital art showcase at a small gallery downtown. Every piece had these clean, numbered file names on the display screens and I asked the owner about it. She told me she names everything by date, series, and version like 2024_10_landscape_v2. It sounds simple but I always just used random names like final_art_3. I switched my whole folder system after that talk and now I can find any piece from six months ago in seconds. No more digging through piles of untitled files. Has anyone else found a naming trick that just works for your workflow?

Yes! I switched to year_month_description and it saved my sanity too.
