That $9 canvas texture pack turned my whole portfolio around

I kept staring at my digital paintings feeling like they had no depth, so I finally dropped 9 bucks on a canvas texture overlay pack last month. Layering it subtly on shadows and highlights made everything look 10 times more finished, even my older pieces. Has anyone else had a cheap texture or brush pack do way more than they expected?

Haha that's a real glow up, though texture packs can't fix bad lighting.
