Three years in Tulsa and my color grading still looks off

I finally got honest with myself last month when I compared my latest piece to one from 2022, same tablet, same lighting setup, and the skin tones just feel flat. I watched a tutorial that said to check my monitor's blue light filter, and sure enough it was on the whole time since I paint at night. Has anyone else spent that long chasing a style issue that turned out to be a basic display settings problem?
