Hit 50 client accounts this quarter and it finally broke my stubbornness about automated reporting.

I always insisted on doing manual reports for clients because I thought it showed more care, but after hitting 50 accounts last month I nearly missed two deadlines and that convinced me to finally set up automated dashboards in Looker Studio - anyone else held out on automation way longer than they should have?

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I was the exact same way about manual reports. Thought it showed clients I was on top of their stuff. Then I hit 45 accounts and my whole evening was toast. Missed a kid's soccer game prepping reports. That was the breaking point. Automated dashboards saved my sanity. Clients actually like them more too. They can check their numbers any time without bugging me. Wish I'd made the switch two years ago. Better late than never.

God yes, this! I was the same stubborn idiot about manual reports for way too long. Thought clients respected the "effort" or whatever. Then I hit 50 accounts and realized I was spending 3 hours every Friday night cobbling together PDFs nobody even opened. My husband finally called me out on it when I was crying over a spreadsheet at 11pm on a Thursday. Switched to live dashboards and it was like a weight lifted. Clients love being able to check their numbers at 2am if they want. And honestly? They never ask me "what's my revenue this month?" anymore. Saves so much back and forth. I get so mad at myself for not doing it sooner. But yeah, better late than never is right. Manual reports are just a trap we set for ourselves. Good on you for breaking free.
