Hit 50% profit margin on my smallest client and it blew my mind
I've been running a small digital marketing agency in Nashville for about two years now. Most of my clients hover around 30-35% margin, but last quarter one of my smallest accounts hit exactly 50%. Turns out it was because they only needed two services - email and SEO - and I wasn't overcomplicating the strategy with unnecessary extras. Has anyone else noticed your smaller clients actually perform better on margins than the big ones?

Have you looked at how much time you're spending on the bigger clients? Sometimes the smaller ones just need less handholding and that frees up your margin.

You ever talk to Mark from the woodworking shop? He had a tiny client that just wanted basic website maintenance and some local ads, ended up being his easiest 45% margin gig. The big ones always wanted meetings and reports and all that nonsense.
