I finally cracked a client's bounce rate mystery after 3 months

We kept telling a retail client in Columbus their landing page was fine because our dashboard said so. Turned out their site had a slider auto-advancing every 4 seconds on mobile, so nobody could read past the first block. Has anyone else found a hidden UX quirk like that through old-fashioned session recordings?

Session recordings are just paranoid overthinking, dashboards rarely lie like that.
