I used to roll my eyes at retargeting ads, but now I'm a believer

My agency spent $500 on a retargeting campaign for a local dentist in Denver, and it brought in 12 new patients in 2 weeks. That's a way better ROI than the Google search ads we were running. Has anyone else had a retargeting campaign that surprised them?

Hell yeah, that's impressive.

Ha, well don't get too cocky yet. Retargeting can be a fickle beast in my experience. I've seen it work wonders for some local services like dentists or plumbers, but then totally flop for other niches like e-commerce or B2B software. Your mileage may vary big time depending on the audience and the offer. But hey, $500 for 12 new patients is a solid win, no doubt. I've had campaigns where the math looked great on paper, but the leads were cold and didn't convert. So take the win while you can, just don't expect it to work that well every time. Saturation and ad fatigue hit hard with retargeting if you're not careful.
