Just spent 3 full days fixing a broken Google Ads script that should have taken an hour
A client needed a simple script to pause ads when their stock ran out. I thought it would be quick, but the API calls kept failing for no clear reason. I must have checked the code 20 times before I found one tiny typo in a product ID list. Has anyone else had a script fight them this hard over something so small?
Honestly, you really think we should just accept that? Tbh it feels like a bad excuse for sloppy work. If we keep saying "that's just how it is" nothing ever gets better. We should be trying to fix the process so these mistakes happen less.
