My old boss told me to ignore TikTok for B2B clients

He said it was just for kids and wouldn't drive real leads, so we never made content for a manufacturing client in Toledo. After six months, their competitor started posting factory tours and problem-solving videos and got three solid inquiries from engineers who found them there. Now I'm trying to build a strategy from scratch. Has anyone else had to pivot a B2B client onto a platform you initially skipped?

Used to think the same way about TikTok for work stuff. Seeing those factory tour videos actually connect with real buyers changed my mind fast. It's less about the platform and more about showing how you solve problems.

Disagree, @kaiblack, that stuff still feels like a waste of time.

Actually, it's not about the platform itself but who's watching and what they want to see.
