Swapped Google Ads for Facebook Ads on a client and saw way better leads

I had a roofing client in Phoenix spending $2,500 a month on Google Ads and barely getting 2 or 3 leads per week. After 6 weeks I switched their budget over to Facebook Ads with a focus on local homeowners aged 30-55. Leads jumped to around 10 per week and cost per lead dropped by half. Has anyone else seen better results from social ads over search for certain industries?

Swapped a client's budget from Google to Facebook for their home services biz and saw the same thing. Google was eating up cash with people just clicking ads and not buying. Facebook let us target specific neighborhoods and age groups way better. We showed before and after photos of roofs right in the feed which got way more attention. Cost per lead dropped from like $40 to $15. Some industries just work better on social when you need to show people what you do rather than wait for them to search for it. Service businesses with visual work like roofing or landscaping seem to kill it on Facebook.

Is it really that big of a difference though?
