Swapped our agency's reporting to Loom videos and lost 3 retainers in 10 days

I recorded a 4 minute walkthrough for a client in Austin showing their dashboard numbers and they cancelled the next morning, so I'm wondering if anyone else found that clients actually hate the personal touch when they're used to a clean PDF.

Is it possible those clients were already looking for a reason to walk, and the video just gave them an easy out? A 4 minute video is hardly a huge ask, especially compared to the time it takes to dig through a PDF yourself. Seems like a coincidence or a pricing issue more than a format problem.
