Thinking about firing my retainer client in Dallas

Been working with this real estate agency for 8 months now, and they keep asking for extra revisions outside the scope. Last week they wanted 3 new landing pages built for free. Has anyone else cut ties with a client even though the monthly check was good?

Oh man, is this really worth losing a steady paycheck over some extra landing pages? Seems like you could just draw a harder line next time instead of going scorched earth. Maybe just send them a revised scope with a price tag and see if they still want 'em.

Changed my mind about this exact thing after getting burned once. I thought I was being smart keeping a good client happy by doing a few extras here and there, until they expected every little request to be free forever. Sometimes you gotta walk away to remind them (and yourself) what your time is actually worth.
