Unpopular opinion: client approval on ad copy is a trap and I stopped building it in
I used to spend days building these polished decks for every batch of ad copy so the client could sign off on each line, and I was sure it was the only way to keep them happy. Then a Shopify client in Austin spent 11 days going back and forth on a single headline for a $40 product, and by the time they approved it the promo was over. I finally just started writing 3 versions, running all of them, and sending results on Fridays. Now I tell new clients up front that I test copy instead of asking them to guess which one will work. Anyone else ditch the approval step and have it blow up on them, or was it smooth for you too?
