Why does nobody talk about how many agencies still pitch without a real customer avatar?
I sat through 5 agency pitches last month for a client in Austin and 4 of them used generic buyer personas like 'mid-market B2B companies' instead of actual details about who buys and why.

Fair point, a real avatar takes real work and most shops just skip it to move faster. Its lazy but clients rarely call them out on it either.

Nah, I see it differently. Most clients don't know what a real avatar looks like so they can't tell the difference anyway.
