Finally cracked 30 remote clients in my first year last month
I started doing freelance admin work from a hostel in Chiang Mai back in October and hit 30 active clients last month. Anyone else find that showing up consistently beats being the most talented person in the room?

Consistency is honestly underrated. I do the same grind from a coffee shop in Medellin and it's wild how just showing up every damn day builds trust faster than being some genius. People pay for reliability, not talent. That's the real flex.

Honestly, that's kind of the whole secret nobody wants to admit. Tbh, I think half the "talented" people I've worked with couldn't show up on time to save their lives, but they sure can talk a big game about their skills. Ngl, I've had clients stick with me for years just because I reply to emails within an hour and don't ghost them for weeks. It's like, yeah, I'm not the fastest or the most creative person, but I'm here every single day doing the boring stuff right. So basically, you're just winning by default because everyone else is too busy being "artistic" and unreliable. More power to you, I guess.
