Found a free work spot when coworking spaces were too expensive

I was in Lisbon and needed a place to work. Coworking spaces charged $30 for a day pass. I found the local library had free, fast Wi-Fi and quiet zones. It saved me money and was more peaceful. Now I check for libraries in all new cities.

Ever try public museums? I did that in Madrid, free wifi and way less crowded than cafes.

I always paid for coworking too until @christopherc20 mentioned museums.

But man, the echo in those big museum halls drives me nuts. You ever try to take a phone call there? Plus half the time you can't find a spot near an outlet, and the benches are built for looking at art, not getting real work done.
