Hot take: I thought the whole 'work from a beach' thing was just for Instagram photos
When I first started, I was sure a real work day needed a real office. Then I spent a month in Lisbon and found a cafe with solid wifi and power outlets at every table. I got more done in three hours there than in a full day at my old apartment, just because the change of scene kept my brain awake. Has anyone else found a specific spot that just clicks for getting work done?

Totally get that, a good third place is key. Find somewhere with minimal distractions but enough background buzz to keep you focused, you know? The right spot makes all the difference.

Yeah, the background buzz thing is spot on. I used to try the library but it was too quiet, made me antsy. Now I just camp at a diner booth during their slow hours, the clatter of plates is weirdly perfect for getting stuff done.
