I picked a hostel over a co-working membership in Medellin and it was a mistake
I landed in Medellin last month and had to decide between a $15/night hostel with a common table or a $200/month co-working space in El Poblado. I figured I'd save cash and work from the hostel, you know, meet people and all that. But the WiFi kept dropping every 20 minutes and I couldn't hear myself think over the reggaeton blasting at 3 PM. Has anyone else found that hostels just aren't built for actual work, or did I pick the wrong one?

Reggaeton blasting at 3 PM" - wait, I'm stuck on that part. Like, at 3 in the afternoon? That's not even party hours, that's just pure chaos. I would have been out of there after the first WiFi dropout combined with Bad Bunny at lunchtime. Honestly, I'm impressed you lasted more than a day. I probably would have cracked and spent the $200 on day two just to get a quiet table somewhere.
