Just realized coworking spaces in Medellin aren't all created equal - El Poblado vs Laureles is night and day

I spent my first 3 weeks in El Poblado bouncing between places like Selina and WeWork. Fast wifi, good coffee, but I felt like I was in a sterile tech bubble. Then a guy at a meetup told me to try Laureles. Found this tiny spot called Cafe Velvet near the stadium. Slower internet but actual local vibe, families coming in, real conversation. I used to think all coworking was the same. Has anyone else noticed huge differences between neighborhoods in the same city?

Makes you realize how much a place's character changes just a few blocks over.

Oh man, it's wild how that happens everywhere once you start paying attention. I swear, even the grocery stores in my own city have completely different vibes depending on which side of the highway you're on. One place feels like everyone's in a rush and the other has people actually chatting at the checkout. It makes you wonder how many good spots we miss just because we stick to the obvious parts of town.
