My Airbnb kitchen had one pan and it's driving me nuts

I'm in Mexico City trying to save money by cooking at my rental. The kitchen only has one small pan, so preparing decent meals is a real struggle. What do you all do when you run into kitchens with hardly any gear?

Honestly believe a single pan can force you to focus better. A full kitchen gives you way more stuff to mess up with. Less gear just means fewer ways to burn your food.
