My buddy who works remote from a van in Colorado said something about my setup that kind of stung
He told me I'm basically recreating an office on the road with all my monitors and ergo gear, when the whole point is supposed to be about freedom. Has anyone else had someone call them out for overcomplicating their travel setup?

Two years ago I was running three monitors and a full mechanical keyboard in my sprinter van. I finally ditched it all for a single 14 inch portable screen and a tablet. Now I can actually sit outside or in a coffee shop and not feel like I'm chained to my desk. If you're honest with yourself about what you actually need versus what you're used to, you can probably cut your gear in half and still get your work done.

Nah man, I gotta disagree. More screens means less tab switching and that saves me way more time than the hassle of setting them up.
