My coworking space membership crashed and I lost a month of work
Last Tuesday my coworking space in Chiang Mai just locked all the doors with no warning. I had my laptop, charger, and notes inside from the whole month. Turns out the owner skipped town with the rent money and left 40 of us stranded. I spent 3 days couch surfing at a friend's place while I figured out a backup plan. Has anyone else had a coworking space just vanish on them like that?

Grabbed a backpack and camped out at a local library for two days straight. Used their free wifi and a cheap Chromebook I picked up at a secondhand shop to rebuild my notes from memory and email backups. Honestly, it sucked but forced me to switch to a cloud-based system with Google Drive and a portable hard drive that I keep in my bag now. Tbh, I realized coworking spaces are risky if they run month to month like that so I only pay weekly rates now.
