My entire work setup died in a Lisbon cafe last Tuesday
Honestly, my laptop charger fried itself and my power bank was dead, so I had zero juice with a client call in 20 minutes. I had to run three blocks to a tech store and drop 90 euros on a new universal charger that felt like cheap plastic. Has anyone found a reliable charger that can handle different country plugs without breaking?

That universal charger move is a classic travel panic buy. Honestly, the good ones aren't sold in airport or tourist tech shops. Gotta order a known brand online before the trip. My go-to has been a single sturdy charger base with a bunch of different plug heads that click in solid. Those all-in-one folding plastic ones always feel like they'll snap.

Honestly, that phrase "folding plastic ones always feel like they'll snap" is exactly what happened to my buddy Matt in a hostel in Prague. His universal charger literally cracked in half when he tried to plug it in.
