Pro tip: my old way of packing a suitcase versus my new way after 18 months in Bangkok...

I used to fold everything perfectly, but after my third visa run where I had to sprint to catch a bus with a bursting bag, I just roll everything now. Anyone have a better system for one-bag life when you're moving every few weeks?

Rolling just makes my clothes come out a wrinkled mess, especially button-down shirts. It actually takes up more space for me because the rolled bundles don't stack neatly. I fold things flat and use packing cubes to compress them, which keeps everything organized. I can fit way more with a tight, folded system without the creases.
