Swapped my coworking pass for a library card in Lisbon, saved $180 this week

I used to pay $220 a month for a hot desk in a trendy coworking spot. Then I tried the Marvila public library for three days when my pass lapsed. Free wifi, quiet floors, and a cafe downstairs with $1 espressos. Now I rotate between two library branches and a coffee shop by the river. The only downside is no meeting rooms, so I take calls from a park bench. Has anyone else ditched paid desks for free public spaces in a big city?
