Oh man, the monkey almost getting your laptop is a whole mood. I once tried to have a peaceful picnic and a seagull stole my entire sandwich right out of my hand. Nature just loves to remind us who's really in charge of the "working vacation" fantasy.

Idk though, maybe it's just me but I don't see the monkeys and seagulls as trying to ruin anything. They're just doing what they do, you know? Getting a sandwich stolen by a seagull might be annoying but it's also kind of a classic beach story. Sometimes the whole "nature is out to get you" thing feels like we're taking ourselves too seriously. Like, you went to their home and got mad they acted like themselves.
