Why does nobody talk about how bad coworking spaces are for actual focus?

I tracked my deep work hours for a month across 3 different spots in Chiang Mai and found I get 40% more done in my apartment than any coworking space, so what do you all actually do when you need to focus?

12 coworking spaces in 3 years and I finally figured out the real problem. It's not the noise or the wifi or the people. It's the lack of visual boundaries. Our brains treat open sightlines as social obligation cues. Subconsciously we're always scanning for who might need something from us. That's why my apartment wins. Every wall is a hard no.

Coworking spaces are just expensive coffee shops with slower wifi.

Man, I feel personally attacked. Tried to write up some repair estimates at a coworking space last month and ended up reorganizing my entire toolbox in my head instead. My apartment is basically a productivity fortress now.
