Chose a password manager over my memory bank and lost control

I had to pick between remembering 30 different passwords or using a cloud password manager. Went with Bitwarden last month and imported everything. Then my phone died and I locked myself out of the manager because I forgot the master password. Had to reset 18 accounts via email. Has anyone else dealt with this catch 22?

Yikes, you need a physical backup of that master password somewhere safe.

Physical backup's great until a fire or flood gets it too.
