Just realized my smart doorbell might have settled a neighbor dispute I didn't know about

My neighbor Mike in Cincinnati asked me last Tuesday if my doorbell camera caught a delivery truck hitting his fence last month. I checked the app and sure enough, it had a clip from 34 days ago showing the whole thing. It felt helpful, but now I'm thinking about all the other stuff it records that I never look at, like people just walking their dogs or kids playing. How much of the street should one camera own, and who gets to decide what's useful?

That's a tough spot, honestly.

My buddy Jake had to fire his neighbor's kid last summer after three no-shows. The dad still gives him the cold shoulder at the mailbox, it's so awkward. Jake said he felt terrible but the whole lawn care thing just fell apart. Kind of makes you realize there's no clean way out of some situations.

Totally get that. My camera caught a cat fight once.
