Unpopular take: Tracking cookies actually helped me find a lost package faster

I used to block everything with uBlock Origin but last month after opting into a retailer's tracking pixel they pinged the carrier and I got a refund in 2 hours instead of fighting bots for days.

Yeah that makes TOTAL sense, I let Amazon's tracking do its thing and got a refund same day.

Huh, I always figured letting Amazon handle tracking was just asking for them to drag their feet. But okay, that's actually good to know. Might have to try that next time instead of wasting an hour on the phone.
