Dropped $200 on a fancy smart thermostat and my utility bill actually went down $18

I figured it was just a gimmick but the scheduling alone cut my heating usage by a decent chunk... has anyone else seen real savings from one of these things?

Oh wow, that is actually pretty solid! I'm impressed you saved anything at all, most people just end up annoyed they spent so much. I've been on the fence about getting one for months but this is making me rethink it. Honestly even a few bucks a month adds up over time, so $18 sounds like a win to me. Glad it worked out for you!
