My caulk gun saga, used to fight it every weekend now I actually enjoy it

For years I had this old squeeze tube caulker that would drip everywhere and jam up every time I touched it. Last month I finally bought a $25 ratchet style gun from the hardware store in Akron and it's like a different world. The rod pushes smooth instead of jerky, and I can control the bead with one hand now. Has anyone else had a moment where a simple tool change made you wonder why you suffered so long?
