Pro tip: a $12 can of spray foam insulation just saved my heating bill
I found a cold draft coming from an outlet on an outside wall last month. Bought a can of the foam stuff, pulled the outlet cover, and filled the cavity behind it. It took maybe ten minutes. My power bill dropped by about $30 this month, which is a lot for a small fix. Has anyone else found weird spots where cold air gets in?

Careful filling the cavity behind an outlet like that, it can be a fire hazard if the foam gets on the wiring. You want the little foam outlet gaskets instead.

Yeah, but those gaskets still let cold air through the box itself.
