PSA: quit caulking over wet grout lines, my shower redo in Tucson peeled in 8 days
I rushed the tub surround and laid a bead over grout that was still damp from Tuesday, and by the following Wednesday the whole strip was curling up like old tape, so has anyone actually waited the full 72 hours and seen it hold, or am I just being impatient?

Waiting the full 72 definitely helps, but honestly dry to the touch isn't the same as cured all the way through.
