Shower drain vs hair catcher, the mesh one finally won me over
I spent two years using those little plastic spike things you push into the drain, thought they were fine. Then my sister showed up with a cheap mesh catcher from the dollar store, like the kind with a tiny handle. First shower after swapping, I pulled out a wad of hair that would've clogged the pipe in a week. Now I buy them in a 6 pack for like $8 and toss them when they get gross, no more snaking the tub every other month. Has anyone else made the switch and never looked back?
