Gave up cordless and went back to a 20ft extension cord

Been doing small garage builds for maybe 5 years now. I kept fighting batteries dying right in the middle of a cut. Last month I dug out my dad's old 20ft cord and attached it to a basic circular saw. No waiting for charges, no swapping batteries, just power every time. I know cordless is everyone's thing now but for a weekend warrior like me, corded just makes more sense. Anyone else ditch cordless after getting sick of dead packs?

That corded saw probably has more torque too. Batteries just kinda sag when they get low, you know? You end up pushing harder and making worse cuts. Plus, a 20ft cord reaches across my whole garage, so it's not like I'm chained to one spot. The only real downside is making sure the cord isn't in the path of the cut, but that's a minor thing compared to stopping halfway through a sheet of plywood.
