Hot take: I think most people overcomplicate crown molding corners
Overheard a guy at the hardware store saying you need a compound miter saw and a degree chart to do crown right, but I've been cutting it flat on a regular miter saw for 8 years and it fits fine every time. Anyone else just lay the crown flat against the fence and cut it simple?

Flat on the fence is the only way I've ever done it too.
