I was sure those peel and stick floor tiles were gonna be a disaster

My bathroom floor was a mess, so I grabbed a box of those sticky vinyl squares from the hardware store for like $30. I figured they'd lift up in a week. Put them down on a clean, dry floor six months ago, and they haven't budged an inch, even right by the shower. Anyone else had a shockingly good result with a product you totally doubted at first?

Ngl, I had the exact same experience with those black and white checkerboard ones in my laundry room. Put them down thinking they'd peel up by the end of the month, but two years later they still look brand new. It's honestly kind of a relief when something cheap and easy actually outlasts your expectations.

My old apartment kitchen had this awful linoleum I covered with the cheapest stick tiles I could find. I was fully prepared to redo the whole floor in a month, but those things held up for two years of roommates and spills. It's wild how sometimes the simplest fix just WORKS.
