Yikes... my buddy hired a guy who used leftover tiles from other jobs without telling people. Saved a ton, but man, that felt sketchy.

Honestly, I had a contractor do that with my kitchen backsplash. He was up front about it, showed me the mixed boxes, and gave me a solid discount. The key was he told me first. Without that heads up, it would have felt pretty wrong.
