My 'quick' deck staining job turned into a three day fight with the weather
I finally got a free weekend to stain my deck in Springfield, picked up a gallon of Behr semi-transparent, and the forecast said clear. Day one, I power washed and it started drizzling by noon, so I had to wait. Day two, I got one coat on before a surprise thunderstorm washed half of it off. Day three, I had to sand the raised grain and start over, using up the whole gallon. Has anyone else had a project completely wrecked by bad weather after checking the forecast?

Checking the hourly forecast saved me next time.

Yeah, I always just looked at the high and low for the day. Seeing the hourly breakdown actually makes a big difference.
