Rental heat gun vs $40 cheapo, I was a snob for no reason

My old Wagner finally died mid-project stripping a porch in Austin, so I grabbed a $40 off-brand at the box store as a stopgap. It outlasted the hour rental I used to pay for and honestly heats more evenly, anyone else ditch the pro rental route for the budget version?
