Grocery clerk's 2 second comment on my tomatoes still bugs me

A cashier at the Safeway on 5th saw me buying romas and said 'those are for sauce, right?' and I told her no, I just eat them raw, and she gave me this look that felt like a personal attack, anyone else get weirdly judged by strangers for totally normal choices?
