Hot take: that "perfect" week I had last spring was actually exhausting

I had a week in March where every single job went smooth, no cancellations, no traffic, and customers actually tipped. By Friday I was so bored and waiting for something to go wrong it actually stressed me out more than a normal week. Does anyone else get suspicious when things go too easy for too long?

Are you saying you actually got stressed because things were too chill? Because same here. I swear my brain treats a smooth week like a trap waiting to snap shut. It's like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and it never does, but the waiting itself is exhausting. I end up double checking everything and feeling jumpy for no reason. My friends think I'm crazy when I complain about a good week, but they don't get how weird it feels to not have a single thing go sideways. It's almost like my normal is just chaos and anything less feels wrong.

Man I dunno, feels like you're making this way deeper than it needs to be. It's just a smooth week, not a psychological test. Yeah it's a little weird when nothing goes wrong but it's not that big of a deal. You're basically saying your brain is on high alert for a problem that isn't there. Maybe just let yourself relax instead of waiting for the trap to snap. It's not that serious.
