I finally got my neighbor to stop parking in front of my driveway

For six months, this guy in a blue truck kept blocking my spot. Last week, I put up a cheap orange cone from the hardware store. The very next day, he parked three houses down. It's been a week and he hasn't come back. Has anyone else had a simple fix work that well?

Honestly, I'm a little mad I didn't try the cone thing sooner. I spent months leaving polite notes that just got ignored. I even thought about buying one of those fake security cameras. Turns out all I needed was a five dollar piece of plastic to make my point.
