I tried two ways to track my project hours and one was a game changer
For the last six months, I used a simple spreadsheet to log my time, but I always forgot to update it. Last week, I switched to the Toggl app and set it to remind me every hour. I billed 12 more hours this month because I actually remembered to track them. Does anyone else find that a small tool change makes a huge difference in getting paid for all your work?

Yeah, I went through the exact same thing. I used a paper log for years and would always forget to fill it in by the end of the week. Switching to a timer that buzzes my phone every 30 minutes was the fix. I pair it with a simple rule: if the timer goes off and I'm working, I hit start. If I'm not, I don't. It's forced me to actually track everything I do, and I'm billing way more consistently now.

Seriously? It's just tracking time. If you're forgetting 12 hours of work, maybe the problem isn't the tool.

Ever had a day where you're just in the zone and forget to hit start? Honestly, it happens to the best of us.
